Posted by Siblings, Gian and Nathan Slater along with collaborator Chris Hale have performed together in many different groups and have developed a strong intuitive and playful approach to their music making. Influenced by their immersion in Choro, Flamenco, Tango and Jazz, they have composed music specifically for the trio that explores their virtuosic and unique instrumental approaches and seamlessly move between musical worlds.
They have developed a common language and rapport that binds their diverse influences into one sound, employing the full spectrum of their instrumental approaches, allowing each individual voice to be heard as both soloist and accompanist as the moods flow from melancholic to sublime.
