On Saturday 23rd May it was our second Moving Into Music Online Concert.
Kimberley Chen’s adult, intermediate and advanced piano students treated us to a wonderful concert. They showed courage and commitment in equal measure.
Some are stepping up for exams later in the year – so the concert was a valuable opportunity to test their mettle!
Three also showed their advanced musical prowess – Helen on cello, Jinhou in voice and Adriel on violin. It was a very special treat to see such musical talent on display.
All in all we heard the works of 15 composers … from the classics, those famous dead composers who lived and worked in bygone days, over a 400year span … to some from the modern era.
Thank-you to these students for sharing their music with us:
Thank-you to Kimberley for sharing Chopin’s “Ocean” Etude Op.25 No.12 with us:
Well done everyone!
Saturday’s concert was a wonderful start to that weekend.
