MOVING INTO MUSIC – ONLINE CONCERT 3: Sunday 14th June @ 11.00am

This was another wonderful Sunday which began with a concert from Moving Into Music.

Concert 3 – Piano students of Zac Hamilton Russell and Nicholas Young were on display.  Students, parents and families including grandparents were in attendance. Great to see a large turnout! In total we witnessed 18 student performances and then a teacher performance from Nicholas. We all know how brave a student needs to be to step up for a concert performance. It takes practice in preparation and is a test of nerves on the day. We congratulate all those who took their courage in their hands, quite literally in the case of a pianist and played for our pleasure and enjoyment.

One young player said to me afterwards “I was so nervous my legs were shaking” … I replied … “well just as well you play with your hands!”

In my introductory remarks I told the young performers that this would be a memorable concert because it was held on Zoom … and that in future years they might be telling their children about it. Later someone pointed out to me that in future years their children might well be asking ‘What was a live concert?’

Thanks to these students who performed in Concert 3:
