ELISA COLLA – ZOY FRANGOS – Variations @ ArtsCentre Melbourne: Hamer Hall 18th July, 2022

Elisa Colla: Soprano … graduated from the Australian Music Institute. Elisa immediately was cast in the role of Nessarose in the Sydney season of Wicked, making her professional debut.

Following the successful Australian four of Wicked, Elisa went on to perform the role of Nessarose to international audiences in Singapore and Seoul.

Her other professional musical theatre credits include understudying/performing the role of Cosette in the Australian Tour of the 25th Anniversary Production of Les Misérables and the coveted role of Maria in West Side Story for Neil Gooding’s Packemin Productions. Of later performances reviewers have said: “Elisa Colla is in fine voice as Cinderella, making ‘No One Is Alone’ one of the evenings highlights. She is perfectly cast as the kind and good-natured princess.” Theatre People (Into the Woods) “Be prepared for Colla’s voice to absolutely blow you away. Her stunning operatic vocals hitting high above the production and soaring out into the enchanted crowd.” The AU Review (West Side Story).
