Moving Into Music has a strong association with Maternal and Child Health Centres. Learning about child development and in particular the critical role and advantages of developing music in babies, toddlers and young children is part of effective parenting. We are often invited to conduct parent education through the mothers’ groups which meet in MCH centres. If you would like us to visit your mothers’ group please contact us.
Parent Education has been a feature of the professional life of Lauris Hing. Her experience in parent guidance began in the field of special education. She has frequently addressed parents in schools and kindergartens and worked with staff in Maternal and Child Health centres to plan and develop parent education programs. She is a regular speaker at the annual general meetings of kindergartens and early childhood centres and continues to conduct information evenings for parents of the children she teaches.
