Jennifer has been actively involved in early childhood music education for over ten years, as a teacher, musician and academic. She has taught young children in a variety of Victorian settings, including preschools, childcare centres, schools, community settings, and playgroups.

Most recently she has been involved in adult early childhood teacher training at the University of Melbourne, where where she currently holds a Lecturer in Music Education position.

Marija holds a Bachelor Music from the University of Belgrade and is currently completing Master of Music Studies Performance at the University of Melbourne. Born in Serbia, Marija began her classical piano studies at the age of nine. Marija graduated from Faculty of Music (piano performance), University of Arts in Belgrade under the guidance of pianists Dr Dubravka Jovicic, Dr Ljiljana Vukelja and Prof. Aleksandar Sandorov.

Gowri holds a degree in music from The University of Melbourne, with a major in piano and minor in voice. At university, she honed her sense of musical interpretation and pianistic technique under the instruction of Russian pianist Igor Machlak. Her vocal range and tone matured under the mastery of soprano Vivien Hamilton. Since her first Yamaha music lessons at the age of three, music has formed the innermost meaning in Gowri’s life.

Caleb Jia Le Yu, is a well experienced performer and tutor. He began piano lessons at the age of six in China with Professor Xie now Head of Keyboard in the Tokyo Academy. He moved to Australia shortly after, studying piano with the well known composer William Chu (composer of the Yellow River Piano Concerto). Caleb began playing for Church services and choirs at the age of twelve and at this time he was offered music scholarships at Camberwell Grammar School, Wesley College and Scotch College.

Nathan Slater initially studied classical guitar to Grade 6 AMEB in Canberra. He continued studies in 2001 with Jazz guitarist Ben Hauptmann and in 2002/3 at Canberra School of Music with Greg Stott and Mike Price. In 2004 Nathan moved to Melbourne to begin his Bachelor of Music Performance at the VCA – Melbourne University, specialising in Improvisation focusing on guitar styles, techniques, history and theory.

Genaaron began learning guitar at a very early age and developed playing skills under the guidance of guitar teacher Tony Calabro, during his primary and secondary school years.

In 2005, for tertiary studies, Genaaron gained entry into Melbourne University at the Victorian College of the Arts and was accepted into the improvisation stream, focusing on guitar styles, techniques, history and theory. During his time at the VCA Genaaron studied with some of the finest guitarists in Australia including Geoff Hughes – Head of Electric Guitar.

Lachlan holds degree in Music (Jazz/Popular) from Monash University where he graduated with high distinction. He also holds a diploma in Jazz Performance from the Box Hill Institute. Currently he is studying education at Deakin University to qualify for a Bachelor of Teaching. Lachlan began learning the guitar at the age of 10 years and since that time he has been dedicated to his love of the instrument.
