Moving Into Music Solos Concerts – Sunday 20th June to be held @ MLC , Barkers Rd, Kew

SUNDAY 20th JUNE is the date set for Moving Into Music Solos Concerts – see schedule below

Guitar and Drums Students will perform in Concerts 1 & 2 in the morning.

Piano students will perform at Concert 3 & 4 in the afternoon.

The venue is: Music School Room 301 – Methodist Ladies’ College, Barkers Rd, Kew.

Please read the attached notice to check details for the venue, student arrival times, concert times etc.

Please Note: These concert times may be altered slightly to accomodate the number of performers and capacity limits of the venue under Covid – regulations.

Guests are welcome to attend with performers. Please notify your teacher of your expected entourage – so that we can anticipate the size of our audience.

We anticipate that we can accomodate 2-3 family/friends along with each performer … but if you have extras hoping to attend please notify your teacher and we’ll try to accomodate them, capacity permitting.

Each Concert will be available on Zoom so that overseas students can participate. Their performances will be presented via video screened to the live audience at MLC. Family/friends of performers are welcome to tune in to the concert via Zoom. Please speak to your teacher to register your interest in Zoom attendance.

All students are invited to perform at their teacher’s concert.

Each concert will run for approx. 45mins – 1hr. We expect that all students and their families attend for this duration in order to enjoy and support each and every student performance at the concert.

This is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and show appreciation for the developing skills and confidence of our music students. It is also a special opportunity to experience and enjoy the virtuosity of our teachers – in performance.

Students:

* Please notify your teacher of your expected number of guests to ensure seating is available.

* Guitar students: please arrive 10 mins before your concert starts for tuning. Guitar bags/cases

can be stored in the passages behind Room 301.
